The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Bears watched Harold Fannin Jr. slide 41 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

Every board in the league had Ersery lower, and that gap is the story. The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Trading back for volume was the quiet throughline of their weekend.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.
