The trade table was a mismatch, and the Cardinals were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value.

The Carson pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback, tight end and other spots still on the board. The Allen value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Cardinals clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
