Larceny in slot 232 lands the Bears a B+, Bethune and all.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Bears were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

Getting Bethune where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The Bears indulged a want in Stover while a need in running back stayed open. They are betting Nugent proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
