The Bears cashed the board's mistake on Keegan: A-. The real work happened on the phones. The Bears fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with.
The Keegan pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Every board in the league had Eguakun lower, and that gap is the story.
Bottom line, with Jackson Powers-Johnson leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
