They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Jayden Daniels is the Raiders' quarterback, full stop. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

That is an edge rusher worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
