Draft Grade — Bills
Overall D-
ValueB NeedB TradesF FutureB-
The phones sank the Bills this weekend: D-.

There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Bills started one anyway for Kenyatta Jackson Jr., 33 picks ahead of schedule. A D- that will need time and luck to look better.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. A whole weekend of picks and offensive lineman is somehow still a want. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Robertson.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.

Pick Analysis
Pick26 Rnd1 Chris Brazzell II
A tidy bit of business in the Round 1 slot, where Chris Brazzell II graded well above the range. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick57 Rnd2 Nyck Harbor
They paid sticker price for Nyck Harbor in the 57th pick, and that is fine. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick59 Rnd2 Dillon Thieneman
Dillon Thieneman at the 59th overall pick is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick89 Rnd3 A'Mauri Washington
They robbed the room for A'Mauri Washington here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick91 Rnd3 Kenyatta Jackson Jr.
They talked themselves into Kenyatta Jackson Jr. at No. 91, and the board did not agree. It fills a real need, too.
Pick126 Rnd4 Jaishawn Barham
Nothing to complain about; Jaishawn Barham went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick129 Rnd4 David Oke
A swing that ignored the value entirely, David Oke well ahead of where he belonged. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick165 Rnd5 Jermaine Mathews Jr.
A big swing on Jermaine Mathews Jr. at Round 5, Pick 25, well ahead of any board in the building. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick167 Rnd5 Aaron Anderson
They went early on Aaron Anderson in pick No. 167, and the value did not follow. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick219 Rnd7 Sawyer Robertson
Steal is underselling it; Sawyer Robertson at the 219th overall pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick226 Rnd7 DeAndre Moore Jr.
No edge and no loss on DeAndre Moore Jr. in the 226th pick; it is a wash and a sensible one. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick257 Rnd7 Brandon Inniss
Brandon Inniss in No. 257 lands just on the right side of the ledger. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
