The board owed the Bengals one, and it paid up: Quinshon Judkins, the No. 86 name on the board, sitting there at pick 190 like a gift left on the doorstep. It grades a D, and the process earned it.

The Grimes reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

With quarterback unsolved, spending premium capital on edge rusher is the choice that costs them.
