Somebody in pick No. 162 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Jets sat still while Jacob Parrish, the No. 118 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. Adonai Mitchell gives the group a proven body among the projects. The trade work was a quiet net positive.

Job largely done: quarterback settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
