Perkins Jr. should have been long gone. The Patriots pounced, and earned a A.

Call it larceny. Harold Perkins Jr. sat on the board until Round 7, Pick 7, and the Patriots did not need to be asked twice. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A to cap it.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. The Patriots indulged a want in Campbell while a need in edge rusher and quarterback stayed open.

Bottom line, with Tre Harris leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
