The Steelers did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-.

Hard to follow the map here. The Steelers bypassed interior defensive lineman, cornerback and other spots to take Sedrick Van Pran at slot 84, a spot they had covered. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Reaching for Williams left real value on the table behind him. Tagovailoa at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
