The Bears robbed the room for Bassa. Final grade: B. Call it larceny. Jeffrey Bassa sat on the board until slot 193, and the Bears did not need to be asked twice. The bottom line is a respectable B.
Pierce has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. A whole weekend of picks and cornerback is somehow still a want.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
