The steal of the weekend belongs to the Bears and Whittington: A-.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bears were there to profit. Jordan Whittington, the No. 188 name on the board, should have been long gone before No. 226. Just about everything broke right, and the A- follows.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The Bears paired the rookies with proven help, Aaron Donald leading the way.

Few war rooms will sleep better than this one tonight.
