Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Patriots came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Landing Rojas that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They will need Haynes to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

The Patriots clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

In the end it comes back to Brice Pollock, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
