After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Bears committed. Drake Maye is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. Just about everything broke right, and the A- follows.

If Nugent pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

In the end it comes back to Drake Maye, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
