The Falcons did not so much draft Barryn Sorrell as overpay for him, 76 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

The Vinson pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
