Draft Grade — Falcons
Overall B+
ValueB NeedB TradesA+ FutureB-
The Falcons won the night they stopped Emmanwori from sliding. Grade: B+.

Whoever sat across the table from the Falcons should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.

The Emmanwori pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

They will need White III to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The Felix Anudike-Uzomah pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

Pick Analysis
Pick31 Rnd1 Mike Green
In No. 31 they get a problem off the edge. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick46 Rnd2 Nick Emmanwori
Nick Emmanwori in pick 46 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick51 Rnd2 Alfred Collins
Alfred Collins at Round 2, Pick 19 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick66 Rnd3 Cameron Williams
They took Cameron Williams at par in the 66th pick, which is nothing to complain about. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick95 Rnd3 Jared Wilson
Jared Wilson in the 95th overall pick is fair value, right on his grade. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick118 Rnd4 Denzel Burke
They did well to land Denzel Burke in slot 118, just ahead of his grade. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick197 Rnd6 Ricky White III
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Ricky White III well ahead of where he belonged. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick218 Rnd7 Jordan Hancock
Good price on Jordan Hancock in pick 218, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. A want dressed up as a pick, at a spot they had covered.
Pick242 Rnd7 Phil Mafah
Phil Mafah in slot 242 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
