Draft Grade — Raiders
Overall B-
ValueB NeedB TradesC+ FutureC
A franchise passer in Sanders headlines a B- weekend for the Raiders.

Call it larceny. Kurtis Rourke sat on the board until the 224th overall pick, and the Raiders did not need to be asked twice. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

Shedeur Sanders is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.

Pick Analysis
Pick4 Rnd1 Shedeur Sanders
Shedeur Sanders at No. 4 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick37 Rnd2 Omarion Hampton
They did well to land Omarion Hampton in the 37th pick, just ahead of his grade. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick68 Rnd3 Xavier Restrepo
A tidy little value on Xavier Restrepo in the Round 3 slot, a step better than break-even. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick107 Rnd4 Malachi Moore
Malachi Moore at No. 107 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick144 Rnd5 Jacob Parrish
Jacob Parrish at pick 144 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick182 Rnd6 Aeneas Peebles
They will replay Aeneas Peebles at slot 182 for years; that is how good the value is. The roster fit checks out.
Pick218 Rnd6 Luke Lachey
A tight end of that caliber at the 218th pick is the definition of value, full stop. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick224 Rnd7 Kurtis Rourke
Kurtis Rourke in the 224th overall pick is a gift, value that borders on unfair. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
