If confidence were a draft strategy, the Seahawks would have aced it. Willie Lampkin at pick No. 236 is 82 spots clear of where he belonged.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. Everything downstream of Jayden Daniels depends on Jayden Daniels, and the building knows it. It is not that Stover is a bad player; it is that the Seahawks had louder needs to answer first.
