The phones were a trap the Chiefs kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. Put together, it is a D-.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. Smith falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. Adding Javonte Williams by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
