The rest of the league had time to spare on Luke McCaffrey; the Jets did not wait, grabbing him 49 spots ahead at the Round 4 slot. A F, plain and simple.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

However the rest shakes out, Rosemy-Jacksaint at that price is a win they earned. It is a win-now wager, and the future is the stake.

There is no soft landing here; this class has to massively overperform just to matter.
