The Lions bet big and early on Michael Trigg, 193 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

Everything downstream of Drew Allar depends on Drew Allar, and the building knows it. They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it.

However the rest shakes out, Metcalf at that price is a win they earned. They went 6 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
