The Bears let Wilson fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Jared Wilson tumbling to the Bears in No. 197 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

Every board in the league had Ezeiruaku lower, and that gap is the story. Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
