No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Panthers.

The Panthers went off the board in a big way for Kaimon Rucker, 41 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another.

The King pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. That offensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 4 of 9 of the wish list covered.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
