Draft Grade — Packers
Overall B-
ValueB- NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
The Packers did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-.

The Packers clearly saw something nobody else did in Miles Frazier, taking him 30 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

Moore at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.

Pick Analysis
Pick23 Rnd1 Will Johnson
In No. 23 they get a lockdown presence outside at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick54 Rnd2 Donovan Jackson
Donovan Jackson in pick No. 54 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick87 Rnd3 Miles Frazier
Miles Frazier at the 87th pick is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick124 Rnd4 Jordan James
Jordan James at slot 124 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick159 Rnd5 Malachi Moore
The board had Malachi Moore higher than the 159th overall pick, and the safety fell to them anyway. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick198 Rnd6 JJ Pegues
A tidy bit of business in the Round 6 slot, where JJ Pegues graded well above the range. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
