The Patriots drew a line under the quarterback search with Maye: C+.

The Patriots spent the pick that matters most on Drake Maye, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. A weekend of give and take that grades a C+.

Taylor has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The Braswell pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

If Drake Maye and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
