The Falcons drew a line under the quarterback search with Daniels: D.

Somebody took the Falcons to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it. Hard to defend, and the D reflects that.

They have staked the next five years on Jayden Daniels, which is the only story that really matters here. The Stover pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at interior defensive lineman and tight end. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
