The Falcons robbed the room for Nix. Final grade: D.

The phones were a trap the Falcons kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. A D that will need time and luck to look better.

Spending an early pick on OLB-EDGE with interior defensive lineman, tight end and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The McClellan reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

Landing Nix that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
