The Falcons finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a D.

The Antwaun Powell-Ryland selection is the head-turner. The Falcons reached 47 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. Hard to defend, and the D reflects that.

They have staked the next five years on Jayden Daniels, which is the only story that really matters here. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong.

The tight end spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Restrepo steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, tight end very much included.
