The Falcons did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B+.

Boards are made to be trusted, and the Falcons shredded theirs for Frank Gore Jr.. He came off 39 spots early, and the room will hear about it. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

The McCaffrey pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
