The Falcons looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Charles Turner III at the Round 7 slot regardless, 42 picks early. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

However the rest shakes out, Johnson at that price is a win they earned. They will regret leaving linebacker for another day if the season turns on it. Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered.

The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.

Good work on the whole, with linebacker the one box left unchecked.
