You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Falcons did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high.

That Singer pick is the receipt they will wave around later. Jayden Daniels gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. For all the activity, offensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

They are betting Eboigbe proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and offensive lineman is still a hole.
