Hadden should have been long gone. The Chargers pounced, and earned a B+.

Somebody in No. 225 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Chargers sat still while Kamal Hadden, the No. 167 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. Spending an early pick on OLB-EDGE with edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

Reaching for Goncalves left real value on the table behind him.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
