Mudski57 DRAFTING FOR THEBills
Draft Selections
Draft Grade — Bills
Overall

Grand theft in No. 91: the Bills steal McNeil-Warren and grade out a B. You build a draft on nights like this. Emmanuel McNeil-Warren had no business being available in the 91st pick, and the Bills did the only sane thing and turned in the card.
The Regis pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.
The roster is better shaped than it was, with linebacker chief among the fixes.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick Analysis
Pick26
Rnd1
Arvell Reese
In slot 26 they get a coverage-and-run second-level piece at a price that makes it sweeter. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick60
Rnd2
Antonio Williams
Antonio Williams is a better player than pick No. 60 suggests; smart patience, rewarded. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick91
Rnd3
Emmanuel McNeil-Warren
They robbed the room for Emmanuel McNeil-Warren here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick126
Rnd4
Albert Regis
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Albert Regis. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick166
Rnd5
Charles Jagusah
A reach on Charles Jagusah in No. 166; the board had better options right there. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick220
Rnd7
Fernando Carmona
Good price on Fernando Carmona in the 220th pick, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick228
Rnd7
London Humphreys
London Humphreys at the 228th overall pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
