You build a draft on nights like this. Johnny Wilson had no business being available in slot 164, and the Lions did the only sane thing and turned in the card. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 4 of 9 of the wish list covered. Quantity was the play, for better or worse.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
