The Patriots found their guy under center in Maye: B-.

Start where it matters. The Patriots took Drake Maye to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

However the rest shakes out, Brade at that price is a win they earned. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.

They will replay Beau Brade at pick 139 for years; that is how good the value is. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.

A top-tier cornerback at a bargain, Chau Smith-Wade in the 182nd overall pick, plain and simple. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick224 Rnd7 Jordan Magee
Jordan Magee at No. 224 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the linebacker. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
