The Chargers worked the phones like thieves and earned a B+.

The rest of the league had time to spare on Barryn Sorrell; the Chargers did not wait, grabbing him 108 spots ahead at the 220th overall pick. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

However the rest shakes out, Bryant at that price is a win they earned. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through cornerback. The veteran additions, Luke Goedeke chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
