The Steelers lost the trade table, and the D+ tells the story.

Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Steelers spent the Round 4 slot on Joe Milton III, a name the board had a full 74 spots lower. Hard to defend, and the D+ reflects that.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. The Frazier pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at interior defensive lineman and running back.

Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They banked enough surplus on Wallace to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and interior defensive lineman is still a hole.
