A sensible, unshowy class lands the Saints a B.

They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Bryson Eason, 62 picks early at slot 254. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

However the rest shakes out, Taylor at that price is a win they earned. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. It is not that Mukuba is a bad player; it is that the Saints had louder needs to answer first.

Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
