The Shilo Sanders selection is the head-turner. The Panthers reached 43 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. The bottom line is a respectable B.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. Getting Evans where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They will regret leaving linebacker for another day if the season turns on it.

The Panthers indulged a want in Farmer while a need in linebacker, quarterback and other spots stayed open.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
