The Panthers ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided.

They will need Stackhouse to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Tuten.

A whole weekend of picks and linebacker is somehow still a want. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

Bottom line, with Mike Green leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
