The rest of the league will want that one back. Jaylin Simpson tumbling to the Bengals in the Round 6 slot is a gift they did not have to think twice about. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

It is not that Isaac is a bad player; it is that the Bengals had louder needs to answer first. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.

If Taylor III pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.
