The Steelers did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-.

Priorities are a choice, and the Steelers made a strange one, taking Blake Fisher at offensive lineman in Round 4, Pick 19 with quarterback, linebacker and other spots crying out for the pick instead.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
