There is conviction, and then there is this. The Eagles took R.J. Oben a full 65 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

The Pierce pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
