Start where it matters. The Raiders took Fernando Mendoza to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. It nets out to a B+, which feels about right.

The cost of the Rodriguez reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. With edge rusher and tight end unsolved, spending premium capital on linebacker is the choice that costs them.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
