There is conviction, and then there is this. The Browns took Will Rogers a full 137 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

The Skattebo steal is the beam this whole class leans on. Leaving safety unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
