Thirty-one other rooms let Joshua Cephus slide, and the Vikings were the ones holding the card at No. 251. Highway robbery.

They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it. The Rattler pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

The Vikings clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before. Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
