Hopper should have been long gone. The Giants pounced, and earned a B.

Thirty-one other rooms let Ty'Ron Hopper slide, and the Giants were the ones holding the card at pick 185. Highway robbery. No fireworks, but a solid B.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

They went 7 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
