If confidence were a draft strategy, the Bears would have aced it. Demani Richardson at the Round 6 slot is 60 spots clear of where he belonged. A D- that will need time and luck to look better.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. So much rides on Drake Maye that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him.

They banked enough surplus on Tampa to cover a lot of smaller sins.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
