A franchise passer in Daniels headlines a D+ weekend for the Bears.

The tape said wait; the Bears did not. DeMonte Capehart went at pick No. 232, a good 35 picks before the board was ready.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. The whole projection now runs through Jayden Daniels; hit there and everything else looks smarter.

The Stover pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with running back still on the board. That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
