Draft Grade — Titans
Overall

FutureB
The Titans robbed the room for Colson. Final grade: A-. Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Titans were there to profit. Junior Colson, the No. 76 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick No. 106. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A- to cap it.
They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up.
Bottom line, with Rome Odunze leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
Pick Analysis
Pick16
Rnd1
Rome Odunze
In the Round 1 slot they get a matchup problem out wide. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick38
Rnd2
Bralen Trice
A market-rate edge rusher, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Bralen Trice. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick45
Rnd2
Troy Fautanu
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Troy Fautanu at pick No. 45. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick78
Rnd3
Caelen Carson
Caelen Carson slid further than he should have, and slot 78 is lovely value for the cornerback. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick106
Rnd4
Junior Colson
You do not let a linebacker like Junior Colson reach the 106th overall pick and blink. They did not. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick136
Rnd4
Cole Bishop
Fair-plus on Cole Bishop, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick144
Rnd5
Sataoa Laumea
They will replay Sataoa Laumea at pick 144 for years; that is how good the value is. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick184
Rnd6
Joe Milton III
The board fumbled Joe Milton III all the way to the 184th pick, and they scooped it up. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick228
Rnd7
Jared Wiley
Jared Wiley at pick No. 228 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. The roster fit checks out.
